The Area Industrial Engineer (IE) will partner with Operations management to develop labor, machine, and material standards and ensure they are accurately maintained. They will assist in optimizing the utilization of equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of area operations. The Area IE will spend time on the floor solving problems and assisting Operations with mistake proofing processes. They will coach and mentor staff on continuous improvement principles and tools. They will lead continuous improvement events such as value stream mapping and kaizen events.

Bachelors Degree
5 or more years of experience practicing Industrial Engineering
3 or more years experience utilizing continuous improvement tools and Lean methodologies
3 or more years experience developing and maintaining labor, machine, or material standards and models


Preferred Qualifications
Industrial Engineering degree
MBA
Experience functioning as a member of cross functional teams
Strong understanding of Finance principles
Experience facilitating improvement events and training sessions
Experience in life sciences industry or other highly regulated industry
Experience deploying Industrial Engineering and/or Lean initiatives across an organization
Experience leading change management efforts
