The successful candidate in this Confirmation Path appointment will have a PhD or equivalent degree, appropriate postdoctoral or research experience, and the potential to establish a vigorous research program.

Responsiblities will include successfully obtaining external research funding, supervising postgraduate research students, and forming collaborative links with research groups within the University of Otago, as well as nationally and internationally. You will also teach in the BPharm programme.

Applicants with research interests in areas of pharmaceutics/pharmaceutical technology for proteins are particularly encouraged to apply. However, applications will be accepted from all candidates with a strong research background in any area of pharmaceutics/pharmaceutical technology. The School has strengths in formulation and drug delivery.
