The Georgetown University Medical Center Department of Pharmacology & Physiology is seeking outstanding candidates for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant or early Associate Professor for the fall of 2012. Applicants should hold a Ph.D or MD/Ph.D degrees and have a strong history of scholarly activity and accomplishments in an area closely related or complementary to cellular signalling and/or neuroscience. Candidates exploring areas of basic science as well as translational applications are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to teach medical and graduate students and to mentor thesis and post-doctoral students. Appointment at the level of associate professor requires current extramural funding.
