Open Position: Lecturer with Potential for Security of Employment
The Department of Developmental and Cell Biology invites applications for a full-time Lecturer with Potential for Security of Employment to teach undergraduate biology courses and to co-coordinate undergraduate programs in the department. Lecturers PSOE/SOE are faculty and academic senate members. The successful applicant will also work closely with other biology faculty in development, implementation and assessment of pedagogical initiatives. Qualified applicants must have a Ph.D. in a biological science or a related scientific discipline and must show evidence of excellent teaching and communication skills, including familiarity with instructional technologies. Preference will be given to applicants who have a strong teaching record, experience in biology education research, and/or have coordinated academic programs. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
