The Position

BasicFunction:

• Leverage influence and matrix management to lead aglobal Biometrics project team of 5 – 15 resources that can be from anyfunction, any site.
• Lead global Biometrics project teams with broadBiometrics impact in the role of either Initiative Team Leader or InitiativeProject Manager to:
• Implement practical andsustainable business solutions
• Deliver project goals onbudget and on schedule
• Leverage the approvedmethodology to ensure consistent project team delivery
• Develop customer needsinto an approved project charter
• Maintain and monitorproject scope per the approved project charter and approved businessrequirements.
• Lead decision making andmake recommendations regarding best options for decisions elevated to the BLT
• Develop and use projectplans to coordinate participants' project activities, and track and report progress. Revise asappropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Manage risks and issues ina timely fashion
• Analyze business, process, and systems performance,identifying improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with and influence key stakeholders atall sites to ensure solutions are sustainable.
• Communicate with other global teams, with thebusiness functions, and with team members on a regular basis to ensureawareness and understanding of the team goals and work
• Proactively withstakeholders and senior management regarding progress, issues and plans forresolution
• Use skills, experience and global cross-functionalvisibility to aid in goal setting and strategic direction setting inBiometrics.
