Two positions (postdoctoral fellow and research assistant) are available in the research group of Dr. Gary Gaufo at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Our group works on the epigenetic, RNA, and transcriptional control of craniofacial and neuronal development in the mouse. Requirements for the postdoctoral position include a Ph.D. in a related biological discipline with particular expertise in mouse genetics and developmental biology, confocal microscopy, basic histological, molecular, and tissue culture techniques. Requirements for the research associate position include a college degree with experience in animal care and basic techniques in molecular biology. Both positions will be funded by NIH grants.
