ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN BIOLOGY



The Biology Department at New Mexico Tech seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor. The successful candidate must be qualified to teach an upper-division course in animal or human physiology, as well as additional undergraduate and graduate courses. The faculty member will establish a research program in any area of biology, and will involve Master's and undergraduate students in their research (with the possibility of directing Ph.D. students in related departments, e.g., Chemistry, Geology, or Materials). Ph.D. in biology or related field required at the time of application. The position will start as early as August 2012.
