TWO ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITIONS Are Available at the University of Wisconsin-Madison



The Department of Plant Pathology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in field crop pathology. The position will focus on pathology of agronomic crops and carries a 75% extension/25% research distribution of effort. The incumbent will be expected to develop progressive, externally funded extension and research programs that improve the management of diseases of field crops while protecting soil, water, and other natural resources. The Department of Botany and the Department of Plant Pathogy invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position in mycology. We seek candidates capable of performing cutting-edge research on fungi or oomycetes associated with vascular plants. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a vigorous extramurally funded research program, contribute to biological instruction including an undergraduate general mycology course, and perform service important to the university and profession.
