The Regional Field Applications Supervisor position can be located in France, Spain or Italy.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
Develops detailed customer installation and/or system integration plans.
Trains, develops and evaluates Field Applications Scientists.
Serves as second level support for significant issues.
Publishes technical articles regarding specific applications.
Works with marketing and product managers to define new products.
Serves as company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.
May provide product feasibility analysis in support of sales efforts with sales representatives.


Preferred experiential background:
PhD or MS degree preferably in molecular biology or related field.
3 years biotech experience preferred.
Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
Previous successful team leadership roles are preferred.
Prior field experience supporting customers using sequencing, genotyping or high throughput technologies preferred.
Demonstrated experience with instrumentation such as liquid handling robotics and optical scanners preferred.
Outstanding problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication and training skills.
Clear vision of and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Language skills: French, Spanish or Italian. English proficiency required.
