A Postdoctoral training position is available at the Sol Sherry Thrombosis Research Center of Temple University School of Medicine. The goal of the training will be to prepare scientists for future thrombosis and hemostasis research. The position is available to characterize the role of tissue factor and protease-activated receptors in tumor growth, signal transduction, metastasis, and angiogenesis. Applicants must have fulfilled M.D. or Ph.D. training and be citizens or residents of U.S. Candidates should have experience in molecular biology, cellular signaling and cell culture techniques. It is expected that the trainee will continue in academic research or teaching after the training program. The position is ordinarily for 2-3 years; salary $36,996-51,036 per year, depending on previous experience.
