Duties: Teach the scientific basics of pharmacy as a health discipline for a PharmD program and advise students. Establish a funded research program that balances teaching and research. Duties may also include serving as Chair of the Pharmaceutical Sciences department. As chair, direct and oversee the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences including: organizing faculty teaching and research activities; developing faculty including mentoring for promotion and tenure; and coordinating with Pharmacy administration for curricular and resource management.
