The Senior Research Technologist in the Genetics and Tumor Cell Biology Department operates as an advanced-level Research Technologist by assisting the principal investigator with: the data collection and analysis for research projects, conducting specific projects, maintaining efficient laboratory operations, assisting in training other laboratory personnel, and performing other duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department. The Senior Research Technologist will participate in studies aiming to uncover the molecular bases of organ development and diseases of the liver and pancreas.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field and 3 years (post-degree) of relevant and productive work experience is required

OR

• A Master's degree in an appropriate scientific field and 2 years (post-degree) of relevant and productive work experience is required

OR

• A PhD in an appropriate scientific field with no additional experience is required

Preferred skills:

• Experience with molecular biology and working with in vivo models is highly preferred
