The Department of Pharmacology (web site:http://www.pharm.emory.edu/) has two tenure track faculty positions available at the level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor for energetic individuals taking a molecular, cellular and/or genetics approach to modern biomedical research problems. Candidates should have strong evidence of sustained creativity and a temperament that facilitates collegial and collaborative interactions. Qualified Ph.D. or MD candidates with research interests in the areas of neuroscience, cancer research, cell signaling or regulation are especially encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will receive excellent laboratory space and substantial startup funds in a setting that fosters their professional development.

Emory University is located in a wooded, residential area in the outskirts of Atlanta, and has undergone rapid growth in molecular and cellular biomedical research programs. Our multi-departmental graduate programs provide a large pool of graduate students, and successful candidates will also participate in medical student training.
